Democrats controlling the Albany County Legislature say the body will vote Oct. 10 about livestreaming the public comment periods of monthly legislative meetings and any public hearings. If the measure passes Oct. 10, all legislative public hearings held on the fourth Tuesday of each month will be shown live starting this month. The legislative body claims that in 2016 it, "became the only County Legislature in the Capital Region to show its meetings live."
