Kyle Adams reports in The Daily Mail it will be weeks before a winner in the 46th Senate District race is declared. With the machine votes counted, Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk, leads Republican Assemblyman George Amedore by just 139 votes. The race will be decided by nearly 8,600 absentee ballots. That count will begin Nov. 19. Amedore declared victory before all the votes were talled, election night. The 46th SD includes most of Albany and Schenectady counties, as well as Greene, Montgomery and Ulster counties.
