The Hudson Valley Smart Energy Coalition hosts a public meeting at 1 p.m. Sat. at the Churchtown Firehouse on the high-voltage transmission power line proposals, with a presentation from Gidon Eshel, PhD., a Bard College Research Professor of Environmental Science and Physics. Members of the group were on the "WGXC Afternoon Show" Thu., Oct. 16 with hosts Tom DePietro and Ellen Thurston. Ian Solomon, with Farmers and Families for Claverack, Pam Kline of Farmers and Families for Livingston, and Livingston Councilman Will Yandik previewed the meeting on the show.
