MidHudson News is reporting home sales in Ulster County and the region rose by 14 percent in 2020 when compared to 2019, according to figures from the Mid-Hudson Catskill Region Multiple Listing Service. The average selling price increased by 26 percent, from $300,160 to $378,394. Because of the high demand, inventory has diminished so many people are now choosing to purchase land to build new homes.
