Unofficial Faso event now at larger venue

Feb 24, 2017 12:07 am
Patricia R. Doxsey reports in The Daily Freeman that so many people have signed up to attend an unofficial town hall meeting scheduled 6 p.m. Feb. 24 for local representative John Faso, that it has been moved from Kingston City Hall to the auditorium at George Washington Elementary School, 67 Wall St. The Kinderhook-based congressperson is not one of the 600 folks who have signed up to attend. Faso says he won't hold town hall meetings, even though representatives from both parties recently in the same seat, Chris Gibson and Scott Murphy, held public events in the face of local criticism. A large protest is planned Sat., Feb. 25 in the afternoon at Faso's Kinderhook office. Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
