Margaret Tomlinson, Catskill Town Chair of the Greene County Democratic Committee reported out this week on the results of the party's recently held Catskill caucus. The assembled voters endorsed four candidates in the upcoming general election. Forty-six Democrats voted July 18, with the following results: incumbent town supervisor Doreen Davis was selected in her bid for re-election. In the town board race, Mark Via and Frances Spark were chosen; Scott Myers was runner-up. Michael de Benedictus got the nod as the caucus choice for Receiver of Taxes. The Democrats failed to nominate candidates for town clerk and highway superintendent.
