Three mobile COVID testing clinics upcoming in Hudson, Chatham

May 26, 2020 2:30 pm
The Columbia County Department of Health is reminding residents of the next three scheduled mobile testing clinics: on Wed., May 27, a walk-up clinic on the sidewalk in front of the John L. Edwards school building at 360 State Street in Hudson; on Tue., June 2, a second walk-up clinic on the sidewalk in front of John L. Edwards; and, on Sun., June 7, a drive through at the Columbia County Fair Grounds at 182 Hudson Ave. in Chatham. The tests to be administered at these clinics will be nasopharyngeal swabs which are most useful to detect the virus in actively sick people. The health department strongly recommends that anyone experiencing fever, cough, trouble breathing, loss of taste or smell, and/or any symptoms consistent with the CDC guidelines, be tested for COVID-19. Residents who would like to be tested are asked to complete an online screening form available at columbiacountynyhealth [dot] com. Health Department staff will follow up with details and instructions after the completed form is submitted. There will be signage and law enforcement managing and directing traffic flow at all three clinics.
