Ulster reaches agreement with deputy sheriffs PBA

MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the Ulster County deputy sheriffs Police Benevolent Association has reached a contract agreement with county executive Patrick Ryan. The union has been working without a contract for nearly two years. Under the new agreement, deputy sheriffs in the county will receive a two percent increase in salary for 2018, and a 2.5 percent increase for 2019. PBA President Det. Mario Tagliafierro called the negotiations, “fair and equitable to all parties involved.” The new contract will expire at the end of this year and talks on a new agreement are likely to begin soon.
