Noah Eckstein is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media the city of Hudson has suspended weekend alternate side parking until further notice beginning April 2. The suspension of alternate side parking on the weekend has occurred seasonally for the past 10 years and then restored in the fall. Department of Public Works Superintendent Robert Perry said his department does not sweep the streets on the weekend and with no indication that snow is likely, the suspension of alternate side parking will have little effect on street cleanup.
