Leah Wightman, 20, from Chatham, won the 5K Sean's Run charity event April 24 in Chatham with a time of 16:37. Hayley Madsen, 25 from Ghent, finished first among women, and 20th overall at 20:12. The 15th annual Sean's Run event raises money for programs in schools to combat underage drinking, impaired driving, and lax use of seatbelts by teens, and to award scholarships to deserving college-bond high school seniors.
