Raymond Pignone reports for Columbia-Greene Media that the Cohotate Preserve, an environmental education center on the border of Catskill and Athens along the Hudson River, is getting a $1.2 million makeover. The Greene County Legislature is spending over $1.6 million in taxpayer money on what they call the Cohotate Preserve Infrastructure Improvement and Renovation Project. The center will get upgrades to the heating and cooling system, electrical system, bathrooms and water supply. Read more about this story at HudsonValley360.com.
