Jim Planck reports in The Daily Mail that Susan Vickars was made the Hunter-Tannersville school's new superintendent at the April 21 Board of Education meeting. Current Superintendent Patrick Darfler-Sweeney retires at the end of the year, replaced by Vickars July 1 on a three-year contract, at $125,000 a year. Vickars was a teacher for five years, then an administrator for nine years, in the Cazenovia Central School District in Madison County. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
