Andrea Macko reports for Porcupine Soup that the Greene County Legislature this week appointed Breanna Lennon as one of the county’s four coroners. Lennon was already running as a Republican for the seat in November. Lennon is a licensed funeral director with Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home in Catskill, and take the place of Edward Brandt, who was elected last November, but is now bowing out of the coroner job. Hassan J. Basagic III of Hunter, Daniel Gulino of Windham, and Gerard Buckley of Cairo are the other current Greene County coroners. Read more about this story at Porcupine Soup.
