C-GCC gets $1M to expand construction tech center
Mid-Hudson News is reporting Columbia-Greene Community College has been granted $1 million by the New York State Assembly to expand its construction technology center. The expansion will allow the college to accommodate more students to meet the increasing demands in the construction industry for those with skills in the trades. “The Hudson Valley’s long history is reflected in centuries of striking buildings – iconic wooden barns, brick or stone houses, riverfront estates and more – and there is a continuing need to repair and restore these wonderful structures,” said Assemblymember Didi Barrett, Democrat of Hudson.
