Mid-Hudson News reports that a second case of covid-19, the deadly coronavirus, was confirmed in New York State March 2. A 50-year-old man in Westchester County, who commutes to Manhattan for work, now has covid-19. The man recently traveled to Miami, but not to anywhere the virus has been reported. “We are now going through possible connections to track down possible connections to find people,” said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The Bronx school the man's son attends was closed March 3, as was a temple were the man attended services on February 22, and a funeral and a bat mitzvah at the temple on February 23. A 31-year-old healthcare worker in New York City has also been hospitalized with the illness. “The real fact that’s relevant is 80 percent of the people who get this virus will self-resolve," Cuomo said. "They may not even know they have the virus; it will be like a flu with mild symptoms." Read more about this story at the Mid-Hudson News website.
