Columbia Sportsman’s Federation honors members
Larry DiDonato is reporting in the Register-Star the Columbia County Sportsman's Federation recently announced its awards for outstanding service at the group's annual banquet held at the Churchtown Firehouse. The federation bestowed its most prestigious award on Vinny DuBoise, president of the Columbia Greene Chapter of Trout Unlimited. DuBoise was recognized for his extraordinary stream restoration work on the Roster Kill and Green Brook in Columbia County. DuBoise also initiated the first annual Project Longbeard and Project Ringneck, both programs for disabled veterans. In his acceptance speech, DuBoise thanked Regional Wildlife Manager and Columbia County resident, Mike Clark, and the members of the sportsmen community. Ron Banks and John Stelling were also lauded for their efforts in support of federation sponsored programs. Read the full story in the Register-Star.
