Paul Kirby reports in the Daily Freeman that while Regal Cinemas 12 closed Aug. 16 in the Hudson Valley Mall in Ulster County, a new multi-plex theater chain will reopen the space in January. “All 12 auditoriums will feature luxury recliner chairs and assigned seating in addition to state of the art sound and projection systems,” a press release from Neighborhood Cinema Group says. “NCG offers affordable movie tickets, free refills on popcorn and soda, select $5 movie tickets on Tuesdays and a loyalty program for movie goers.”
