Courtney Ward reports for News10 that the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District has picked a new nickname: the Ravens. Formerly, the school sports teams were called the Indians. But state regulators mandated that all public schools eliminate mascots and team names with Native American imagery. So the southern Albany County schools now have a new nickname and logo.
