The Concert Across America to End Gun Violence takes place Sept. 25 in New York City, and hundreds of communities around the country including Kingston, Beacon, and Great Barrngton locally. BSP in Kingston has the biggest names with Kate Pierson of the B-52s, Marshall Crenshaw, Mike + Ruthy, Robert Burke Warren, Connor Kennedy and Minstrel performing at 7 p.m. In Beacon, at the Towne Crier Cafe at 6:30 p.m. the performers include Adam Falcon, Baba Kazi Oliver, Beacon Music Factory, Buffalo Stack, Gilbert, God’s Nation Crew, Raquel Vidal & Diamond Hotel, Sam and Margot, Steve Kirkman and Local Heroes, Tabernacle of Christ Worship Team The Springers, Susan Wright, Rick Aparicio, Jeff Haynes, Eric Puente, and others. At 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Society of the Congregational Church of Great Barrington, Seth Glier, The Matchstick Architects, David Reed, Bobby Sweet, The Beeline Ramblers, Terry A La Berry, and David Grover perform.
