Stewart airport needs hangar space; looking to build

MidHudson News is reporting demand for hangar space for aircraft based at New York Stewart International Airport is so high that the Port Authority is looking for developers to build additional space. Currently, there is no space available and Stewart Business Development Director Michael Torelli said more would be a plus for the airport and the region. “...It is one thing to utilize the airport, but it is another thing to have them based at an airport because basing an aircraft at an airport brings extra jobs, extra investment and more activity,” Torelli said.
