WGXC volunteer Christina Malisoff recorded the meeting about a proposed new food co-op Acres Co-Op Market Tuesday evening in Hudson. Malisoff reports over 100 folks turned out to the First Presbyterian Church on Warren St. for the meeting, and speakers included Peter Pehrson, Statewide Outreach Coordinator for New York Sustainable Agriculture Working Group; Ellen Thurston, Fifth Ward Alderwoman and WGXC volunteer; and Anna Duhon, Cultural Resource and Outreach Coordinator at the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program.
