A broadcast celebrating the work of Loretta Lynn, who died on October 4, at the age of 90. At a time when the pop airwaves were full of declarations of puppy love, Lynn’s songs were often reported from the frontlines in the battle of the sexes. “You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man,” “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ With Lovin’ On Your Mind,” “The Pill,” and “Fist City,” still ring loud and clear.
