David Lombardo reports in Capitol Confidential that at New York Democrats' convention May 23 the party approved a resolution to legalize marijuana. But Nassau County Democratic Committee Chair Jay Jacobs hedged his bets saying, “It’s the sense of the party.... It’s not a mandate to candidates.” Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon is in favor of marijuana legalization. Gov.
