Greenville budget comes in under tax cap
Nov 29, 2017 2:15 pm
Audrey Matott reports in The Greenville Pioneer that Greenville's 2018 town budget was approved under the state's 1.84 percent tax cap. Property tax owners will see a .09 percent increase, so a $100,000 property will see a $9.15 tax increase in the coming year. "There is no fluff in this budget," Greenville Supervisor Paul Macko said. Macko also said that there will be minimal increases for those living in the lighting district, but no increases for the sewer or water districts.
