Red Flag Warning in effect through afternoon
Apr 15, 2015 6:20 am
The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Red Flag Warning east central New York, including Greene, Columbia, Rensselaer, Albany, Dutchess and Ulster counties, from late Wednesday morning through early evening. The forecast calls for moderate winds, very low relative humidity and temperatures from the mid-50s to the upper 60s. A Red Flag Warning means that fire weather conditions are expected due to that combination of conditions. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain.
