Dominique Ferraton

Dominique Ferraton is a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal. Through sound and visual art, she explores the environment and relationships with it : the ways in which we transform the places we inhabit, how we are affected by them, and how we relate to the sounds found in these spaces. Her work has been presented in various Canadian venues, including unconventional ones such as a greenhouse and a park. She has created audio pieces for CKUT, CBC Radio and NAISA and received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Saskatchewan Arts Board. In the context of an artistic practice linked to our relationship with nature and geography, she has been artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre (AB), in Great Smoky Mountains National Park (TN), and at the Bruno Arts Bank (SK).
