NY getting $19M to help with drug fight

The Times Union is reporting Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced Wed., Oct. 18, the state will receive $19 million in federal funds to boost efforts to help those struggling with substance abuse. His office says the money will help expand and enhance addiction treatment, with a special focus on medication-assisted treatment options and programs that help pregnant woman and new mothers dealing with substance abuse.
