Rev. Hyochul Kim is the Executive Director of the Won Dharma Center and chairperson of Won Buddhism of USA, Inc. She was fully ordained in the Won Buddhist Order in Korea in 1979 and worked at Eoyang and Kyodong Won Buddhist Temples, as well as Manduk and Ducktae Retreat Centers. She was the director of the Department of International Affairs at the Won Buddhist Headquarters in Korea and has been a leading figure in introducing Won Dharma to the world by making Buddhist thought and principles more accessible to people in contemporary society.
