Bradley leaves, or is forced out, at liquor authority
Steve Barnes reports in the Times Union that Vincent Bradley, the chair of the State Liquor Authority for eight years left the agency it was announced on June 2. Three sources tell Barnes that he was forced out by Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office. Bradley was one of the few remaining top officials appointed by former Gov. Andrew Cuomo. A spokesperson for the state liquor authority declined comment. The anonymous sources of Barnes also said that Lily M. Fan, a New York City attorney and Tony Award-winning theater producer, who is one year into her second four-year term as an SLA commissioner, would be named the new chair. Hochul’s office did not reply to a request for comment, and Bradley and Fan also failed to respond to interview requests. Read more about this story in the Times Union.
