Postal employee injured in one-vehicle crash

Lauren Stanforth is reporting for the Times Union state police are investigating how a driver for the U.S. Postal Service crashed her mail truck into a tree in Hillsdale. Police said Esther Horn, 54, of Copake, was traveling south on Oxbow Road around noon March 7, when her truck left the road for unknown reasons, striking a tree. Horn sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries, and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center Hospital for treatment. Hillsdale Fire Department, Egremont Fire Department of Massachusetts, and the Community Rescue Squad assisted at the scene. Read the full story in the Times Union.
