The Mid-Hudson News Network reports in The Daily Freeman that the Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin operating daily flights between Stewart International Airport and European destinations in mid-2017. A company spokesperson said there may be introductory $69 fares to certain European cities when the new service starts. “We will be creating a lot of jobs at Stewart because we will base two aircraft to begin with in mid-2017, and that will require some 75, 80 pilots and cabin crew that will be recruited locally in the greater New York area,” a spokesperson said.
