Zoom Flume gets $50,000 grant

Kate Seckinger is reporting in The Daily Mail the Zoom Flume water park has been awarded a $50,000 grant funded by the state’s Community Development Block Grant for Economic Development. The grant will support a project to reconstruct the park’s entrance and the creation of at least three full-time positions. The grant proposal was prepared by the Greene County Department of Economic Development. Zoom Flume co-owner Denise Kerrigan said the plan has been in development for the past few years.
