Luke Parsnow reports in New York State of Politics that sales tax collections in New York were up four percent in August over a year ago, according to state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli's office. DiNapoli said in a statement, “Local sales tax collections in August continue a pattern of moderate increases in 2023....
