Local arts group gets $100,000 grant

Living Resources, a nonprofit group that works with artists with disabilities is receiving a $100,000 grant from the Special Needs Program, Inc., which will allow the group to expand its Arts Program to include pop-up art studios and a gallery. “There is such great need in the Columbia County Region for service programs and we are honored to have been chosen as a recipient of a Special Needs Program grant which allows us to continue to serve the needs of developmental and brain injured individuals residing in Columbia County. This gift will preserve the Special Needs Program’s legacy of serving individuals with developmental disabilities. It is a wonderful gift that will continue to give back to the community in the form of art for years to come.” said Living Resources CEO, Fredrick W. Erlich.
