The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Red Flag Warning from noon to 6 p.m., for Greene, Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties. Wind gusts may exceed 40 mph this afternoon into tonight. If wind gusts are expected to approach 50 mph, a Wind Advisory may be issued. The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low, according to NWS.
