Sandra Teitge is the co-founder, along with Sarah Mewes, of Dinner Exchange Berlin. The Exchange collects perishable food from farmers' markets, bakeries, wine merchants and other small food distributors, and then create dinners for a variegated group of people who usually span the cultural fields. They have collaborated with several art and cultural institutions and initiatives in Berlin and throughout Europe. A portion of the income raised by each event, goes toward initiatives and organizations concerned with food waste.
