Polls vary on the size of Gibson's lead

Jimmy Vielkind reports at Capitol Confidential Democrat Julian Schreibman's campaign Tues., Oct. 9, touted a poll showing incumbent Republican Congressman Chris Gibson leading Schreibman by two points, in the race for the 19th Congressional District seat. The survey, paid for by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, indicated 16 percent of the 400 voters surveyed were undecided. The poll was conducted over the weekend by Grove Insight. There was little detail released on the sample, including from which parts of the 11-county Congressional district it drew the most voters. Meanwhile, an independent poll conducted last month by the Siena Research Institute found Gibson leading Schreibman by 16 points. Read the full story at Capital Confidential.
