Johnson, Bujan challenge Rector, DiPietro

Amanda Purcell reports for Columbia-Greene Media that First Ward Alderperson Kamal Johnson announced March 13 that he is challenging incumbent and fellow Democrat Rick Rector for Hudson mayor later this year. “We’ll be going to primary,” Johnson said. “I am just excited to run a clean a race. Mayor Rector is definitely a worthy opponent.” Last week First Ward Alderperson Rob Bujan said he is running for Common Council President, taking on incumbent Thomas DiPietro.
