Dixie is a Minneapolis composer, sound artist, theatrical sound designer and radio broadcaster. She is a sonic explorer who likes creating with any and all sounds. Dixie works with artists in multidisciplinary fields, is founder/performer with the experimental group the Unique Sounds Ensemble, creates audio documentaries, field recordings, experimental electro-acoustic music, sound and radio art.
