Lisa Conway is a composer, songwriter, artist, and producer who has composed for and collaborated with filmmakers, dancers, and performance artists, and completed creative residencies from New Brunswick, Canada to Aubagne, France. From fall 2015 to 2016, she was a Slaight Music Resident at the Canadian Film Centre, and was one of two Canadians selected for the renowned Red Bull Music Academy 2018 in Berlin. She’s received press for her releases as L CON from The Fader, Uproxx, Tiny Mix Tapes, Noisey, Popdust, CBC, Exclaim, Now Magazine, and The Toronto Star, and her collaborative and solo work has been heard at the Montreal Fringe Festival, the Sonic Arts Research Centre (Belfast), the Toronto Harbourfront Centre, the imagineNATIVE Film Festival, TIFF, Art Spin, Summerworks, Ontario Place (as part of the in / Future Festival), Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal, and the Art Gallery of Mississauga, among others. She recently composed her first episodic series, the score for season two of award-winning webseries Barbelle.
