Joseph Kramer is a Chicago-based sound artist and musician working in performance, installation, recording and object making. He often works in collaboration, most frequently with Noé Cuéllar as part of the ongoing project, Coppice. He has performed and exhibited solo and in cooperation at The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Hyde Park Art Center and Audible Gallery in Chicago, The Flea Theater in New York, Spark Festival of Electronic Music and Arts in Minneapolis, McNeill Street Pumping Station New Music Festival in Shreveport, and internationally in Iceland, Sweden, Canada and the Netherlands.
