In the first hour, Lize Mogel discusses her "Views from the Watershed" bus tour, with Suzanne Thorpe. "Views from the Watershed" is a podcast tour about the past, present, and future of NYC’s water supply in the Catskills region. In the second hour, the broadcast premiere of a piece recorded exclusively by kids and teen counselors at the Oakdale Lake day camp through the Hudson Youth Department, a summer program for kids aged 5 through 13 in Hudson. Kids of all ages participated in a camp program called Soundwalking, offered by local creative arts organization Beautiful Racket and taught by Sarah Van Buren. Kids spent time field recording all over camp — from the beach to the woods to the basketball court. This is what they came up with (and edited by Sarah). The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community. The show is a place for a community conversation about issues, with music, and more. Saturday the emphasis is more on radio art, and art on the radio. Unlike shows by individual programmers on the station, the "WGXC Afternoon Show" is considered partially station-run. The Sunday version calls itself "Li Le, Le Tan."
