Hosted by Kieran Riley (Monday); Randall Martin, Kim Singletary (1st, 3rd Tuesday); Randall Martin (2nd, 4th Tuesday); a rotating collection of hosts (Wednesday); Tom DePietro, Selha Graham (Thursday); Tom Roe (Friday, Saturday); Azouke Legba, Carline Murphy (Sunday).

Maggie Hazen, from the Columbia Collective, discusses their show "Talking Back: Artists of the Columbia Collective," which is at Foreland in Catskill through Sept. 25. "Talking Back" features new site-specific works from the Columbia Collective, a multimedia group of young female and trans artists named after their previous facility, the New York Department of Corrections’ Columbia Secure Center for Girls in Claverack, New York. The Collective is now incarcerated at the maximum Brookwood Secure Center for Youth down the street in Columbia County. That interview is in the first hour of the show. In the second hour, Tom Roe will be joined in the studio by Drew McCabe, an organizer of the Flyday Music Festival, a four-day event that will take place from September 29 to October 1, at the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham. The event features regional and national funk, fusion, prog, rock, jam, bluegrass, reggae, electro-live bands, a variety of activities, and more. Information at flydaymusicfestival.com/faq. Also, tune in to all the latest votes, speeches, fundraising, and other news from the representatives and candidates for the 19th, 20th, and 21st Congressional Districts in New York.

The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community. The show is a place for a community conversation about issues, with music, and more. Saturday the emphasis is more on radio art, and art on the radio. Unlike shows by individual programmers on the station, the "WGXC Afternoon Show" is considered partially station-run. The Sunday version calls itself "Li Le, Le Tan."
