Adam Clayton is reporting in the Register Star the former Emsig Button factory located on Second Street in Hudson has been purchased by Harney and Sons Master Tea Blenders. Harney and Sons is headquartered in Millerton, Dutchess Co., and employs approximately 155 people. The company produces more than 300 tea blends for sale worldwide. The 70,000-square-foot plant was last occupied by the plastic netting manufacturer Phoenix Hudson, which ceased operations in 2013. The owners of Harney and Sons have so far declined comment on the company's plans for use of the building. Read the full story in the Register Star.
