Work on Columbia Co. Route 21 bridge set to begin

Jun 03, 2020 5:30 am
The Columbia Paper is reporting contractors working for the Columbia County Department of Public Works will begin the process of replacing the county Route 21 bridge in Hillsdale on June 15. The bridge spans a tributary of Agawamuck Creek in the town of Hillsdale. County Route 21 will close at the bridge site just before the work begins and traffic will be directed to a temporary detour that will be posted by the county’s project contractors. That detour will cross sections of county Route 21, state Route 22, state Route 203 and county Route 7 in the towns of Hillsdale and Austerlitz. The work is expected to take approximately 4 to 5 months to complete. Read the full story story in The Columbia Paper.
