Columbia Greene Media reprinted a press release Feb. 5 from the Columbia Economic Development Corporation announcing its board of directors elected new members on an undisclosed date. The CEDC elected David Fingar, chief engineer of Mid-Hudson Cable, as board chair, replacing Tony Jones, president of Roe Jan Publishing Inc. who served as CEDC Board Chair beginning in September 2015. The CEDC also elected James Calvin of the New York Association of Convenience Stores as vice chair and John Lee of Saturn Industries as treasurer. Hudson First Ward Supervisor Sarah Sterling was re-elected as secretary. And Richard Cummings III of Mulhern Gas, Derek Grout of Harvest Spirits, and Seth Rapport of Valley Mortgage were elected to the board of directors.
