"This might strike some as being risky in this environment of new media, but I've looked at the numbers and they don't lie," said Jake Demmin, president of owner Townsquare Media. "There's literally a clamoring for Christmas music 24/7/365/52." See the full story at Syracuse.com.

The Rip Van Winkle Amateur Radio Society's next meeting is at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Churchtown Firehouse, 2219 County Route 27, Hudson. They will be having an auction of radio equipment. On May 9 and 16 the East Chatham Fire Company, Inc. hosts and co-sponsors an Amateur ‘Ham’ Radio licensing course with the Rip Van Winkle Amateur Radio Society.
