Bill Williams reports for Columbia-Greene Media that the Columbia County Department of Public Works closed indefinitely the Stall Bridge, which crosses the Roeliff Jansen Kill on Pleasentvale Road, between Clermont and Livingston, on June 21 because of deterioration. Officials are instead having cars detour on Route 9 and E. Kerleys Corners Road in Dutchess County. The bridge was a one lane, steel deck bridge with a five ton weight limit.
