John Mason is reporting in the Register-Star incumbent Robert “Doc” Donahue and Priscilla Moore have secured their places on the Republican line in the November race for alderman in Hudson's 5th Ward, following a count of write-in votes cast on primary day, Thu., Sept. 10. The two candidates weathered a challenge from incumbent Alderman Bart Delaney, who fell short in his attempt to secure the backing of his former party in a bid for re-election. Donahue, a registered Democrat, and Moore were endorsed by the Hudson Republican Committee.
