Columbia-Greene Media is reporting the New York Lottery announced November 30, the top-prize winning ticket for the Take-5 drawing was purchased at Go Greene Food Mart, located at 6360 Main Street in Tannersville. The ticket is worth nearly $52,000. It is not yet known who purchased the winning ticket. According to the Daily Freeman, the winner was the only ticket-buyer statewide to match all five numbers drawn: 3, 12, 21, 24 and 32. The odds of matching all five numbers are 575,757 to 1. Take 5 numbers are drawn at 10:30 p.m. each day in New York. Tickets that match four, three or two of the numbers drawn win prizes significantly smaller than the jackpot. Lottery prizes can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
